On this occasion, the Vietnamese Consul General in Ekaterinburg Ngo Phuong Nghi awarded medals to five Russian veterans who excellently completed their international missions, worked and participated in battlefields in Vietnam.
Representatives of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Russian Association of Veterans and the Russian-Vietnamese Friendship Association in localities sent the best wishes as well as praised the solidarity of the Vietnamese Army and People.
The Russian Veterans Association also awarded medals to four former Vietnamese soldiers who worked in air defense and security forces.

Representatives of the Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia and overseas Vietnamese living in Cambodia attended in the rally.
