Vietnam captures First Prize of WhiteHat Grand Prix 2017

Vietnam’s team CLGTftMeePwn captured the award of VND225 million ($10,000) for the First Prize of the WhiteHat Grand Prix 2017 with the theme “Vietnamese Heritages” after defeating more than 452 competitors from 62 countries and territories.

Vietnam’s team CLGTftMeePwn captured the award of VND225 million ($10,000) for the First Prize of the WhiteHat Grand Prix 2017 with the theme “Vietnamese Heritages” after defeating more than 452 competitors from 62 countries and territories.
The event organized on December 17 wrapped up with fierce competition of teams.
This is the fifth time the cyber security competition has been organized on the global scale. WhiteHat Grand Prix 2017 attracted the participation of 452 teams from 62 countries and territories including the US, Korea, Taiwan ( China), Poland, Australia, Netherlands, Italy, China.
Vietnam won the First Prize with the mark of 7,211 ; followed by Taiwan and the US’s Dogfish teams with the mark of 6,111 and 4,611 respectively.
