He made the statement at a yesterday online meeting of the health sector for task implementation of the year 2019.
In addition to lauding the sector’s efforts in taking care of people, he pointed out that the sector must improve more to better its achievement.
He said that along with changes in medical workers’ behaviors to patients, the sector should be intended to enhance application of technology especially in tele-treatment and in electronically medical system.
For health insurance, the health sector should strengthen implementation of measures to encourage more health insurance buyers as well as better grass-root medical facilities to earn patients’ trust.
Before, according to Health Minister Nguyen Thi Kim Tien, the health sector has achieved two criteria assigned by the National Assembly and the government in 2018. The two criteria were the number of bed over 10,000 populations and the proportion of insurance participants.
