A series of mild earthquakes accompanied with explosions have been continuously occurring in Bac Tra My District in the central province of Quang Nam in the last few days, said the People’s Committee on Sunday.
Local residents confirmed the daily occurrence of earthquakes in the district. Since October 22, more than ten earthquakes have been felt in the area. Because most of them were of low intensity, the Earthquake Information and Tsunami Warning Center did not issue any warning.
Already three out of the five scheduled quake observation stations have been installed in Quang Nam Province.
