Pekka Hyvonen, Finland’s Ambassador to Vietnam has announced the setting up of an aid assistance program in the Mekong Delta to support non-governmental organizations fight against climate change.
The Euro 160,625 (US$ 227,000) two-year aid program will raise public awareness on climate change and support the efforts of non-governmental organizations in all work related to climate change.
Information centres will be set up to facilitate the goals of the program.
