With the action month, the organizers were looking forward to joining hands between local administrations and the community to increase knowledge of drowning prevention skills for a safer environment for children.

Right after the launch, the organizer opened a free swimming course for kids in Hoa BInh City.

Annually, most of drowning victims live in countryside districts or in places with rivers and streams. Hence, swimming teaching is necessary for them in summer vacation.
