The People’s Committee in the central city of Da Nang and Sun Group on May 20 hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for the first phase of an 88 hectare amusement park on September 2 Street along the western bank of the Han River.
Construction of Asia Park is estimated to cost US$200 million.
The park will comprise of sports and cultural areas. The cultural part will be divided into nine sections representing nine Asian countries. A section will include architectural works, landscapes and historical relics--symbolic of each country.
