VN suspends three poor quality drugs from market

The Vietnam Drug Administration under the Ministry of Health has ordered the removal of three low quality drugs from circulation in the Vietnamese market due to dissolving issues.

The drugs are Omag-20 tablets (Omeprazol 20mg), with expiry date September 3, 2013 and manufactured by Dat Vi Phu Pharmaceutical Company; Cefilife-100 (Cefixime tablets USP 100mg), with expiry date July 19, 2012 and manufactured by Eurolife Healthcare in India and imported by Vimedimex Pharmaceutical Company; Seachfol-Z (Pantoprazole tablets 40 mg) with expiry date April 13, 2013 and manufactured by Overseas Laboratories Company of India and imported by Hanoi Pharmaceutical Company.
