With the results, VNPost has obtained the target set for the phase from 2016-2020 two years before schedule.
Mr. Chu Quang Hao, director general of VNPost, said that the corporation has intensified information technology application, investment in equipment and production chain and production organization renewal to gain the achievement.
In 2018, VNPost continued affirming its important role in public administration service with over 12 million documents being received and returned through post offices, increasing 33 percent over 2017. The service has been implemented at over 1,500 communal cultural post offices.
VNPost has further attended e-government implementation such as building national database in household health insurance, the portal on martyrs and martyrs cemetery and Vietnam digital map database project.
