Vietnam, Laos, Thailand to promote economic growth

A conference was held in the central highland city of Kon Tum on December 14 to promote economic development in provinces in Vietnam, Laos and Thailand.

A conference was held in the central highland city of Kon Tum on December 14 to promote economic development in provinces in Vietnam, Laos and Thailand.

The three countries will jointly endeavour to promote economic development in three Vietnamese provinces of Kon Tum, Quang Ngai and Binh Dinh, the Thai provinces of Ubon Ratchathani, Sisaket and the Lao provinces of Champasak, Sekong and Attapu.

The conference attracted participation from many business enterprises from the three countries.

Each province has its own potential and advantage in areas covering agriculture, tourism, rubber, rice, energy and minerals.

Participating businesses exchanged plans for cooperation and agreed to implement regulations conducive to each area for future success of projects.
