The FV Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City on March 30 announced that they were ready to discharge a patient after two months of treatment for removing a 90 kilogram tumour from his right leg.
After 2 months of treatment, Nguyen Duy Hai from Da Lat City in the highland province of Lam Dong can now stand comfortably and is able to walk.
Medics at the renowned FV Hospital helped him practice walking with a mobile walker twice a day.
In addition, the skin graft surgery cuts, from where skin was peeled to cover his wounds, have healed.
Doctors at the hospital said that despite having large wounds, Hai is able to walk, thanks to the excellent treatment and care of the medical workers and support of his relatives.
Nguyen Duy Hai’s recovery and his ability to walk are being considered miraculous, said doctors of FV Hospital.
