Farmers at Ca Mau Island were pleased with the increased number of traders coming to buy rice yesterday.

Traders currently buy rice at the rice field from VND2,600 – 2,700 per kilogram, an increase by VND200-300 per kilogram.

A kilogram of long-seed rice from winter–spring rice that farmers have kept stored cost VND4,600 – 4,700 per kilogram, an increase of VND500 per kilogram from last week.
