Indian five-in-one vaccine approved to be circulated in Vietnam

The Ministry of Health has issued the certificate of circulation for new five-in-one vaccine to meet people’s immunization demand.


The Drug Administration of Vietnam under the Ministry of Health September 30 said that to satisfy people’s vaccination demand, it has issued the certificate of circulation for a five-in-one vaccine that protects against whooping cough, diphtheria, tetanus, hepatitis B and Hib.
The vaccine is made by India’s Serum Institute of India and imported by Vabiotech.
The administration asked medical clinics and infirmaries to update the information of the new vaccine to provide for people. Moreover, medical facilities must have plan to use and order to replace when they are short of the available vaccine abruptly.
