Hospital provides free treatment to two children stabbed by stranger

Le Thanh Phung, 2, and Le Trung Loi, 6, from An Binh Apartment in District 5 were rushed to the hospital in severe condition with Phung having been stabbed nine times in the stomach, diaphragm, liver, large and small intestines; while Loi’s transverse colon, liver and small intestine were pierced by a deranged stranger.

They both are currently under intensive care and recovering.

The two children were stabbed by Phan Xuan An, 32, on An Binh Street in District 5, who later said that due to fatigue from work he had become lonely and suicidal and wanted to kill somebody to accompany him to hell.
