Health watchdog warns of fake nutritional supplement

The Vietnam Food Administration (VFA) has issued its warning of fake nutritional supplement Beta z, which is advertised to import from the US to help increase people’s height after two-month use.
The Administration said that after it has received complaint of the product on the website www.betazvn.cf and social network Zalo, the Administration has conducted investigation of certificates of circulation and advertisement posted in the internet.
Consequently, the heath watchdog has conducted verification of the legitimacy finding that the certificates are fake.
Therefore, to protect consumers’ right and health, the administration warned people not to use the supplement. In case that organizations and individuals were found to sell the product, local government would impose penalties on them as per the regulation.
