That was announced by Mr. Pham Trong Dat, director general of the Government Inspectorate's Anti-Corruption Bureau.
The Government Inspectorate will announce an unexpected inspection decision this afternoon, said Mr. Dat.
Investigation will also inspect asset declarations by Mr. Quy, his wife and relatives, added Mr. Dat.
Previously, the province had made a decision to inspect land use by Mr. Quy’s family in Minh Tan ward, Yen Bai city. The move came after media information said that 13,000 square meters of forestry land had been transferred into housing land for the official’s family within a short time.
