Staff of Fuji Xerox on November 19 attended the opening ceremony of their first factory in Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park in Hai Phong City in North Vietnam.
The factory is one of the biggest industrial factories of Fuji Xerox in Vietnam with total investment of US$115 million. It will specialize in making photocopy machines, printers and other such devices with capacity to export two million units per year.
Once operations stabilise, the factory is also expected to provide around 3,000 jobs for local laborers.
The factory premises cover an area of 176,700 square meters and the completion of the factory took around 10 months.
