Concerning to the hospitalization of many kids in Hung Yen for treatment of genital warts after circumcision in a private clinic, Deputy Head of the National Hospital of Dermatology and Venereology Dr. Le Huu Doanh said that the hospital will work with the Department of Health in Hung Yen to set up a scientific council to find out the cause of the incident.
The Hospital will take heed in treatment of these cases as well as increase information of the disease to people in a bid to prevent fresh cases. Moreover, the hospital will carry out a scientific research on the incident by taking blood of kids, kids’ parents for testing to arrive at the conclusion.
In addition to 37 kids in Khoai Chau District are confirmed to have the disease, in these days, over 100 patients hailing from Hung Yen Province arrived in the hospital for examination. Of them, 11 kids from KHoai Chau District are found out to have genital warts and they must be hospitalized.
The National Hospital of Dermatology and Venereology decided to cover treatment charge for all kids in Khoai Chau District with genital warts aged below 15 from July 17 to December 31, 2017.
