Petrol prices rise under latest adjustment

The retail prices of petrol rose in the latest adjustment on May 22 by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.

The price of E5 RON 92 petrol went up from VND350 per liter to VND20,480 (US$0.97).

Meanwhile, that of RON 95 rose by VND490 to VND21,490 per liter.

The prices of diesel oil went up VND300 to VND17.950 per liter, while kerosene decreased by VND10 to VND17.960 per liter.

At this price adjustment, the two ministries decided to extract VND300 per liter from all the fuels for the petrol price stabilization fund.
