Statistically, around 12,000 Vietnamese newborn babies suffer heart and other inborn diseases. Some of them died before detecting the disease. Accordingly, doctors warned early screening and treatment to save them.
Each paper crane will be exchanged VND20,000 for these kids sponsored by the hospital to pave the way for the fund “Nhip dap yeu thuong” ( Loving heart beat ) – the hospital’s social action project to nurture kids’ dream and bring updates of medical knowledges of cardiology, diabetes and sleep disorder to people.
In addition to fund raising, each paper crane is written a wish and moving story.
The campaign will run to December 22.
