Over 130 workers at Cy Vina Co Company in Long Duc Industrial Park in the Mekong Delta province of Tra Vinh are being treated in many hospitals in the province after suffering from food poisoning symptoms.
Deputy director of Tra Vinh General Hospital Dr. Tran Kien Vu said that the hospital yesterday received 130 workers who were suffering food poisoning.
According to the victims, after lunch including fried chicken, internal organs of chicken cooked with sauce, vegetable soup, and fried vegetable at the company canteen many of them got belly pains, vomiting, diarrhea, and headache.
Thanks to timely treatment their health condition is stable.
This is the second time the company workers have been poisoned after meals at the company. Over 100 workers have been hospitalized on January 15.
