Multiple dengue fever outbreaks detected in wards, communes across HCMC

The Ho Chi Minh City Center for Disease Control (HCDC) on January 30 reported that in the fourth week of the year, the city recorded 1,289 dengue fever cases.

The number of cases since the beginning of the year has reached 6,542. Notably, Binh Hung Hoa Ward, Tay Nam Ward and An Nhon Tay Commune reported high incidence rates, exceeding 100 cases per 100,000 residents.

Several other wards and communes in the city have also recorded dengue outbreaks, including Thuan An Ward with 23 cases and nine outbreak clusters; Phu Loi Ward with 27 cases and 15 clusters; and Chau Pha Commune with 16 cases and seven clusters.
