Discussion of a possible meeting between President Putin and his US counterpart Trump at the APEC meeting next week is underway, said Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov.
Peskov told reporters on November 3 that: "We do not rule out the possibility of holding such a meeting, and it is actually being coordinated now."
As soon as all details are clarified, a corresponding announcement will be made, he added.
Peskov stressed that the importance of any contact between the Russian and US presidents and its significance "in all international affairs can hardly be overestimated."
On November 2, the US President stated that he can hold a meeting with the Russian leader during a Pacific Rim visit. SOURCE: VIETNAMPLUS.
