FPT will provide the chatbot infrastructure while DIR will assign their technological experts to Vietnam to help develop tools as well as processes for the chatbot service in Japanese language.
At the moment, FPT’s chatbot service supports 2 languages of English and Vietnamese.
Regarding RPA technology (robotic process automation based on AI), both parties will collaborate on the development of AI integrated systems and the support on multi-interface to flexibly meet customers’ high demands.
Both sides will also co-operate to apply image recognition and real-time data analysis technology, which has been successfully tested by FPT on self-driving, into the fields of finance and banking.
Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Thanh Hung said on the event that he hoped the results of this collaboration would help not only financial companies but also businesses of other fields to work more productively and more cost-effectively so as to increase the international competitiveness for both Japanese and Vietnamese Information Technology.
Mr. Yukiyuki Kusaki, DIR President, hoped that with their own experience and ability to deliver solutions which utilized state-of-the-art technologies, this co-operation would create new values to boost Japanese IT expansion.
According to Mr. Truong Gia Binh, FPT Chairman, this is the first time FPT has joint-worked with a leading research institute in Japan to develop the most cutting-edge technologies, the platforms of the 4th Industrial Revolution.
This collaboration will cultivate a new pathway to leverage both companies’ technologies.
“In the 4th Industrial Revolution, speed is the key to success. Therefore, this strategic partnership between FPT and DIR is the motivation to accelerate the speed of technological development and to quickly bring solutions as well as applications based on the newest technologies from both companies’ research into real operations of businesses in a global scale,” said Truong Gia Binh.
