Projects cover various fields of mechanical automation, material technology, information technology, electronics, telecom, biotechnology, environmental-friendly technology, proficient use of natural resources, energy saving and use of new energy.
The organization board will award four first prizes, 9 second prizes, 15 third prizes, 17 consolation prizes.
Four first prizes belonged to Doan Ngoc Hiep and his colleagues of the Workshop 23 (Factory Z199 - under the General Department of National Defense Industry); Le Van Tri and his colleagues of the Biotech JSC; Nguyen Kim Son and workers of the James Boat Technology Joint Stock company; Cu Duc Lam and his colleagues of the Factory Z125 - under the General Department of National Defense Industry.
Le Van Tri of the Biotech JSC; and Nguyen Kim Son of the James Boat Technology Joint Stock company also won golden medals at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Awards.
The award ceremony co-organized by the Vietnam Union of Technical and Scientific Associations and the Vietnam Fund for Supporting Scientific and Technological Creations (VIFOTEC) will be held at the Soviet-Vietnamese Cultural Friendship Palace in Hanoi on May 16.
