Saigon Passenger Transportation Company (Sapaco Tourist) has inaugurated a quality bus service from Ho Chi Minh City to Siem Reap in Cambodia.
Twice a week a comfortable, air-conditioned bus leaves town at 6.30 a.m. and takes eight hours to make the 550-kilometer journey via the Moc Bai border crossing in Tay Ninh province.
A guide travels on every trip and talks about places of interest along the way and Cambodia in particular.
The fare is US$20 for a single ticket and $36 for a return trip, and includes breakfast, lunch and a soft drink.
Prior to departure, Sapaco Tourist helps its customers to complete the visa formalities, reserve a hotel room in Siem Reap, and book a tour in Cambodia.
