According to the two ministries, diesel price slides VND67 a liter to VND18,544. Kerosene and mazut prices are kept stable at VND17,086 a liter and VND15,649 a kilogram.
The spending level from petrol price stabilization fund is VND700 a liter of E5RON92, VND91 a liter of kerosene and VND267 a kilogram of mazut. The two ministries asked to stop the fund spending to kerosene.
The price reduction accords with the world price fall for the last 15 days. Specifically, A RON 92 barrel has decreased to US$18.7 and a barrel of RON95 has reduced to US$80.5.
Since the beginning of the year, petrol prices have decreased for two times but increased for 6 times. Hence, petrol prices increased by VND1,000 per liter compared to the beginning of the year.
