Worse, in three recent months, infection cases leaped to over 1,400 cases when weather is conducive to outbreak of the disease.
Presently, the ward is overloaded with dengue patients; accordingly, it has called for assistance of medical workers from other wards and patients had to share beds. More beds are placed in the lobby for patients, said Dr. Trung .
By the Department of Health’s statistics, over 3,600 dengue cases have been recorded since the beginning of the year.
