Israeli President Shimon Peres arrived in Hanoi Tuesday on a five-day official visit at the invitation of Vietnamese President Truong Tan Sang.
He is accompanied by a delegation including Minister of Science and Technology Daniel Hershkowitz and Minister of Agriculture Orit Noked, as well as the director general of the President’s Office, Efrat Duvdevani, and the director general of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Menachem Greenblum.
Peres received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1994. He was elected the ninth president of Israel in June 2007.
