Tourist companies offer one day package tour on September at the price from VND11,900,000 (US$517) – VND14,900,000 (US$647), departing from Hanoi and HCM City.
Meanwhile tours of one to two nights to famous destinations like Da Lat, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Nha Trang and Mekong Delta region for the National Day have also attracted many visitors.
The national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines plans to offer two additional flights from Hanoi to Jakarta and one additional flights from HCM City to Jakarta on September 1. The flight will be served by Airbus A321 aircraft.
In addition, the carrier announced that it will increase 32 flights during the Vietnam National Day holidays (September 2) from August 31 to September 3, providing 6,500 more seats to meet the high demand on routes, such as Hanoi-Da Nang/Quy Nhon/Phu Quoc; HCM City-Quy Nhon/Nha Trang/Phu Quoc/Da Lat. The total number of seats during the period will be more than 151,000 seats.
