The Ho Chi Minh City Labor Union and the Mobilization Board for the Poor gave Nguyen Huu Tho scholarships for the academic year 2015-2016 to 413 disadvantaged students at poor communes in Cu Chi district, yesterday.
As plan, primary students received scholarships worth VND 1million each and highschool students with VND 1.2 to 2 million each scholarship, totaling VND 500million.
In 2015, Cu Chi Labor Union also offered 3,600 Nguyen Duc Canh scholarships to children of poor families in the district.
