SBV has just required banks in provinces and cities not to let ATMs do not have money and ensure that the machines will operate 24/7. ATM system must operate smoothly, stably and safely without interruption, especially in industrial parks and export processing zones.
In addition, payment in cash should be intensified at businesses to reduce pressure for ATMs near the Tet holiday.
SBV also asked National Payment Corporation of Vietnam to arrange technical staff to be on duty to ensure bank card switching system to operate safely and stably during the holiday.
