The Military Industry and Telecoms Group (Viettel) is the only Vietnamese company to  earn revenues of  VND38,000 billion (approx. US$1.7 billion) from foreign markets. The total number of its global customers at the end of 2017 was over 43 million, an increase of 15 percent compared to the previous year.
