Number of enterprises resuming operations rises by 15.2 percent

The General Statistics Office of Vietnam has just announced that the number of newly registered enterprises in November increased significantly compared to the previous month. The number of enterprises that resumed operations rose by 15.2 percent over the previous month, signaling the recovery of business and production activities after implementing Resolution No.128/NQ-CP for more than a month.

According to the General Statistics Office of Vietnam, in the first two months of this year, the country had 18,100 newly-registered enterprises with the total registered capital at VND334.8 trillion, up 4 percent in the number of enterprises, and 52 percent in the value of registered capital compared to the same period last year. Noticeably, the average registered capital of a newly-established enterprise in the first two months reached VND18.5 billion, an increase of more than 46 percent year-on-year.

According to the General Statistics Office of Vietnam, 85,357 new businesses were established in the first eight months this year with the total registered capital of VND822 trillion (US$36.17 billion).

Registered capital of real estate firms highly increases

HCMC recorded 12,088 domestic firms established with the total registered capital of VND132,600 billion (US$5.83 billion), in which real estate firms’ funds was highest accounting for 38 percent of total in the first four months this year.
