Indigenous locals in the Central Highlands Province of Kon Tum are getting rich from nothing to millions by growing, buying and selling medicinal plants.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs yesterday coordinated with the People's Committee of the Central Province of Binh Dinh to organize a conference ‘Gap go Han Quoc’ ( Meet Korea in 2022) with the participation of nearly 200 delegates in Quy Nhon City with the aim to call for Korean investors to pour investment in the South Central region - Central Highlands.
Realizing that medicinal herbs have been overexploited by Dao ethnic people in Nam Dam Village in Quan Ba Commune, Quan Ba District in the northern mountainous province of Ha Giang, a local Dao man was determined to preserve valuable medicinal herbs so as to keep his ethnic group’s rare remedies and to make the ethnic community rich.
