Chairman of the People’s Committee of Binh Dinh Province Nguyen Phi Long was at the airport to welcome the first returners. The leader of Binh Dinh Province said that the local authorities have recently directed relevant departments and agencies, especially the provincial Military Command and Department of Health to consult them on the overall plan of bring home residents of Binh Dinh from Ho Chi Minh City with a target of ensuring absolute safety for them.
All those people safely came back their hometown in compliance with Covid-19 prevention and control measures thanks to supports of medical and aviation staff.
Some passengers shared that they were very touched as their homeland had arranged airplane and other means of transport to take them home.
Before boarding, the passengers had been taken sample for Covid-19 test and showed the rapid test certificate of coronavirus.
Binh Dinh Province covers all the fees and costs related to transportation, accommodations and sample tests for all returners.
The Central province will organize three more flights on July 23, July 26, July 30 to pick up an extra of its 600 people from Ho Chi Minh City.
All the returners have been sent to isolated areas of military barracks in the locality.
