The Vietnam Cashew Association (Vinacas) and the Vietnam Pepper Association (VPA), on the morning of April 19, issued an urgent document to their members cautioning them about potential fraud in exporting to Algeria.
The Vietnamese Trade Counselor in Italy has recently informed that, after three timely interventions, 16 containers of cashew nuts have been kept so far when being transported to Italian ports.

The Government Office has sent a telegram No.1583/CD-VPCP to the ministers of Industry and Trade, Agriculture and Rural Development, Public Security, Transport, and the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) conveying the direction of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on exporting cashew nuts to the European market.
