The area is being cleared to build a public school and the city People’s Committee pledged to assist VND 7,055,000 (US$303) per square meter. The financial assistance comes from the city budget.
In addition, Tan Binh district decided to use the district budget for supporting local vegetable growers who have been affected by the dismantlement of illegal construction works and unable to continue vegetable production.
The district People’s Committee will support a sum of money equivalent to three month revenue from vegetable farming (VND4-6 million a month) for those who did the farming until January 3, 2019 with image recognition by the People’s Committee of Ward 6.
The district People’s Committee will organize vocational training courses that are up to residents’ demand and expectation; assist households with solitary circumstances, the poor and disadvantageous ones to get loans from Vietnam Bank on Social Policies if they are in need. Moreover the ward and the district will provide Tet care assistance and visits to residents and ensure social welfare.
The ward People’s Committee will review those in accommodation difficulties and meeting social housing purchase regulations to propose to the city People’s Committee to solve each specific case.
Residents directly cultivating in agricultural land and those receiving cultivation rights at the above land pierce with unnotarized and illegal papers from January 3, 2019 onwards are subject to the assistance policy.
The district People’s Committee will establish three spots for residents to supply relevant information about their land use and residence situation and register to receive assistance funds.
