After three-day competition in Minh Hung Farm of Binh Long Company in the southern province of Binh Phuoc, workers of Phu Rieng Rubber Company bagged the first prize for team category yesterday.
The Vietnam Rubber Group (VRG), the organizer of the competition, gave VND50 million to the team from Phu Rieng Company for the first prize in team category. VRG also handed VND20 million to Tran Duy Duc from Chu Rong Company for the first prize in individual category.
23 workers from rubber farms in the province earned the title Golden Hand prize each worth VND5 million and 56 others have won the champion title each receiving VND3 million.
This year the competition attracted 213 workers from 39 groups. In addition to workers in companies members of VRG, the competition has the participation of Laotian, Cambodian workers of rubber companies and workers from regiment numbered 15. Competitors are those have had good achievement from company competition representing for nearly 70,000 workers in the sector.
