In its annual Bloomberg 50 (B50) honoring noteworthy global leaders, Bloomberg Businessweek has named the only representative of Vietnam, President and CEO of Vietjet cum Standing Vice Chairperson of HDBank Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao.
The 2018 B50 honorees include prestigious leaders and entrepreneurs, namely Mr. Jerome Powell, Chairman of the U.S. Federal Reserve, Ms. Amy Hood, Chief Financial Officer of Microsoft, Mr. Ben van Beurden, CEO of Royal Dutch Shell, Ms. Chrystia Freeland, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada, Ms. Leanne Caret, President and CEO of Defense, Space & Security at Boeing, and Mr. Cyril Ramaphosa, President of South Africa.

Madam Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao has recently made the World’s 100 Most Powerful Women list by Forbes in 2018. She ranked 44th, up 11 spots from last year. The No.1 in Forbes’s list is German Chancellor – Angela Merkel, followed by U.K. Prime Minister – Theresa May, the third is Managing Director of International Monetary Fund - Christine Lagarde, and CEO of General Motors – Mary Barra. | |
