After being heavily impacted by Covid-19 for two years, trade between Vietnam and the United Kingdom (UK) has recovered, reaching nearly US$6.6 billion at the end of 2021, up 17 percent from the previous year, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
In the first six months of the year, the garment and textile sector earned $14.58 billion, a year-on-year rise of 11.3 percent, said the Ministry of Industry and Trade. However, the sector is predicted to face difficulties in upcoming months because of declined demand and competitive pressure.
