Vietnam Airlines has just announced to adjust the plan of many flights due to the impact of tropical typhoon No. 2 (with its international name Mulan) in the Gulf of Tonkin.
Localities from the northern to the northern central regions have been requested to gear up personnel and equipment for Storm Mulan, which is predicted to enter the Gulf of Tonkin on late August 10.
Localities in northern Vietnam, particularly coastal ones, are being warned to brace for heavy rain triggered by tropical storm Mulan, the second storm entering the East Sea this year, which is heading towards the area from Quang Ninh province to Hai Phong city.
A tropical low-pressure system quickly intensified into the storm named Mulan Tuesday afternoon, making it the second storm in the East Sea this year’s hurricane season.
