The opening ceremony of the 2022 Bac Lieu Don Ca Tai Tu Nam Bo (Southern amateur music) Festival opened at the Memorial House of the art of Don Ca Tai Tu Nam Bo (Southern amateur music) and late composer Cao Van Lau in Bac Lieu City in the Mekong Delta province of the same name on November 23.

The 9th Phong Dien-Can Tho Ecotourism Festival 2022 opened in Phong Dien District of the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho on September 24.

In order to implement the direction of the HCMC People’s Committee, the municipal Department of Culture and Sports has coordinated with relevant departments to complete the draft plan for preserving and promoting the value of the UNESCO-recognized intangible cultural heritage, Don Ca Tai Tu Nam Bo (southern amateur music) in HCMC from now until 2025.

Around 21 art troupes from provinces and cities in the Southern region participated in the Don Ca Tai Tu (southern amateur music) Contest and the Space of Don Ca Tai Tu Nam Bo which opened in the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho on April 6.
