Newly-formed storm Goni developed from a tropical low pressure zone fizzles off the shore of the Philippines this morning. It is expectged to to become the 10th storm affecting Vietnam this year after typhoon Molave has just battered Central provinces and cities.

Pursuant to the latest weather news from the meteorologists, a new storm will make landfall in Central Vietnam at the weekend. 

A low- pressure zone yesterday afternoon developed into a tropical depression in the eastern territorial water of the Philippines.
