The 2022 Lunar New Year holiday is the second consecutive week that all 21 districts and Thu Duc City maintain the Covid-19-free status. There are no districts at pandemic alert level 2 – the yellow zone. This is also the second consecutive week that the number of new Covid-19 cases has been reduced to less than 1,000 per week.

People who are about to enter HCMC through Tan Son Nhat International Airport need to have a negative RT-PCR test result within 72 hours before arrival in Vietnam. This test result must be confirmed by the competent authority in the host country, except for children under two years old.
