Due to effect of low pressure trough at 17-20 degrees latitude north and new low pressure zone on East Sea, the northern waters of East Sea and territorial water of Paracel Islands will experience heavy rainstorm accompanied cyclone and strong winds, reported by the National Hydro Meteorological Forecasting Center on June 12.
The new low pressure zone was located at 16, 5- 17, 5 degrees latitude north and at 114, 5 -115,5 degrees longitude east on East Sea on June 12.
According to forecast weather, the low pressure can develop a tropical low pressure.
Due to the influence of the southwest monsoon, southern waters of East Sea includes Spratly Island, territorial waters from Binh Thuan to Ca Mau will see strong winds at level 5-6, gusts up to level 6.
