HCMC strives to reduce Covid-19 mortality rate
Dr. Nguyen Van Vinh Chau, Deputy Director of the Department of Health, said that if the city reported more infection cases, the mortality of severely and critically ill Covid-19 patients will increase affecting the quality of treatment. Therefore, the country’s commercial hub strives to reduce fresh infections to reduce mortality rate only by vaccination and strict social distancing.
