The Information Technology Department under the Ministry of Health yesterday said that up to now, more than 10 million people across the country have had their e-vaccine passports confirmed, an increase of about 4 million people compared to last week's statistics.

Health Minister Nguyen Thanh Long asked local administrations to complete the verification of the population data, identification, and electronic authentication for national digital transformation before June 1.

Under the pilot period of welcoming international tourists who hold vaccine passports from November 2021 to March 14, 2022, the coastal province and city of Khanh Hoa and Phu Quoc (Kien Giang Province) received numerous travelers from Russia, the Republic of Korea, Japan and Malaysia, notably Khanh Hoa Province recorded over 10,000 arrivals.
