Economists warn of decline in exports

Export turnover of goods in the first ten months of the year was estimated at US$312.82 billion, up 15.9 percent over the same period last year. This is a positive signal, however, economic experts warned of the risk of a decline in export turnover in the near future, because of rising inflation in many countries that are tightening monetary policy.

Ministry carries out measures to recover shrimp export markets

Since the beginning of this year, prolonged hot weather and saltwater intrusion have caused disadvantages for shrimp-farming areas in the Mekong Delta. Besides, the Covid-19 pandemic has also affected the export of shrimps, leading to a decline in export turnover.
