Phu Yen Province promotes young intellectuals as chairpersons

The chairman of the People’s Committee of Phu Yen Province in Central Vietnam has approved a program to promote young intellectuals to the position of chairpersons in communes and wards of the province.

The chairman of the People’s Committee of Phu Yen Province in Central Vietnam has approved a program to promote young intellectuals to the position of chairpersons in communes and wards of the province.  

As per the program, 22 young intellectuals will take charge of communes and wards in towns like Tuy Hoa, Song Cau and in Tuy An, Dong Xuan, Son Hoa, Song Hinh, Dong Hoa, Tay Hoa and Phu Hoa Districts. Among the young people that have been promoted, eleven of them are women and four are from ethnic minority groups.

These young intellectuals will benefit from the province’s special policy to attract young talent to work for the development of the province, as per a decision made by the People’s Council.

Students from universities and colleges, who study full-time degree programs, can apply for the program.
